RESOLUTION AUTHOR IZI NG SETTLEMENT OF KOEFERL CASE
WHEREAS, The City Attorney has advised the Mayor and
Finance Committee that the Koeferl matter could-now be settled
for the total sum of $8,500.00, and it is the recommendation
of the City Attorney thatsid settlement be accepted upon the
condition that the plaintiff sign releases of all claims and
causes of action not only against the City, but against its
officials, both elected and appointed, and its agents, employees,
and all contractors or subcontractors who were involved in the
sewer project on the Koeferl land, and that in addition an
easement for sanitary sewer purposes approved by the City
Attorney, be provided;
BE IT RESOLVED, that in accordance with the above
terms that the City Attorney be authorized to proceed to
settlement of this matter and that the funds for payment of
said settlement be made available within 30 days from the date
hereof.
