DIRECTING WELFARE COMMITTEE TO PREPARE PLANS
FOR CITIZENS TO USE CITY-OWNED PROPERTY FOR
GARDEN PUTS
WHEREAS, there is great interest developing by citizens
for the renting of small plats of land for the purpose of
gardening, and
WHEREAS, this interest has increased because of the state of
the economy, and
WHEREAS, the city oms approximately 21 acres on the south
side of McShane Road which is not being used, and
WHEREAS, a number of citizens could derive great benefit from
the use of the property for gardening, etc.,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego does hereby direct the Public Welfare Committee
to develop a program whereby small plats of land could be
leased from the city by citizens of the community for the
purpose of gardening.
BE IT NRTHER RESOLVED that the Welfare Committee is directed
to make their report .? back to the Council by April - 8th, 1975.
