(AS AMENDED)
REQUEST FOR PAINTING OF CROSSWALKS ON S.T.H. 24
FROM RACINE AVENUE TU TESS CORNERS DRIVE
WHEREAS, the Public Safety Cornittee has recommended that
crosswalks be painted at all intersections as recomended
by the Police Department along S.T.H. 24 from Racine Avenue
to Tess Comers Drive, and
WHEREAS, the Safety Committee feels that this would help in
our continuing efforts to reduce the traffic hazards incurred
while attempting to cross Highway 24, and
WHEREAS, Highway 24 is under state and county jurisdiction,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Huskego, does hereby request the state (or county) to
delineate the crosswalks at all intersections as recomended by
the Police Department of S.T.H. 24 from Racine Avenue to Tess
Comers Drive.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be submitted
to Mr. Tim Kinsey of the Wisconsin Department of Transportation
and Mr. Vince Demshar, Waukesha County Highway Commissioner.
