REQUESTING AIDS UNDER C0M"ITY DEVELOPMENT
BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, there is reason to believe that the City of Muskego
would be eligible for aids under the Community Development
Block Grant Program sponsored by HUD (Department of Housing and
Urban Development), and
WHEREAS, in order to make that determination it is required
that a pre-application for federal assistance be submitted
to HUD by February 28, 1975, and
WHEREAS, there are several programs which could benefit from
federal assistance,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego does hereby authorize the Mayor to submit a pre-
application for federal assistance in the name of the City of
Muskego.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in the event Muskego does qualify
approval of the final application must be given by the Council
prior to its submittal.
