DECLARING THE CITY'S INTENT TO APPROVE THE USE OF
ASSESSMENT "B" BONDS FOR PRIVATE
DEVELOPERS
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Muskego has received
a request from Rite Realty Company for permission to finance
the development of Guernsey Meadows by Special Assessment "B"
Bonds, and
WHEREAS, the city's financial consultants Ehlers and Associates
have concurred that Muskego could gain substantial shared taxes
in approving this request, and
WHEREAS, past experience has indicated that the city receives
some financial benefit, and
WHEREAS, the city has used Assessment B Bonds in several other
subdivisions,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby approve of the request of Rite Realty Company
for financing Guernsey Meadows by the Special Assessment "B" Bond
method.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Committee and the City
Attorney and financial consultants Ehlers and Associates are
authorized to develop the necessary agreements between the city
and the developers and that the Mayor and City Clerk are author-
ized to execute the necessary documents in the name of the city.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Committee is directed
to make periodic reports to the Council on all aspects of this
