AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO LEND FUNDS TEMPORARILY
TO LITTLE MUSKEG0 LAKE PROTECTION AND
REHABILITATION DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Common Council, on September 10, 1974, adopted
Resolution $1174-74, entitled, Establishing Little Muskego Lake
Protection and Rehabilitation District, and
WHEREAS, the governing body of the Rehabilitation District will
need funds for public notices, legal fees, etc., and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the city attorney that the City of
Muskego is permitted to provide temporary funding to the
district until monies are raised through assessments, and
WHEREAS, it is estimated that legal fees, mailing costs for
public notices, etc., could amount to approximately $5,000.00,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego does hereby authorize the lending of up to $5,000.00
to the Little Muskego Lake Protection and Rehabilitation District.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that interest shall be charged at a rate
of 8%.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all monies loaned shall be paid
back to the city by March 1, 1975.
