DIRECTING CITY A'ITORNEY To DRAFT THE NECESSARY
IMPLEMENTING ORDINANCE To INCORPORATE THE SEWER
USAGE CHARGE IN THE REAL ESTATE TAX STATEMENTS a * WHEREAS, the Sewer Committee has considered the possibility of
incorporating the sewer usage charge into the real estate tax
bill of the City as a separate item, and
WHEREAS, a letter has been mailed to all persons being charged
a sewer usage fee asking their reaction to the proposal, and
WHEREAS, a vast majority of the people responding favored the
proposal , and
WHEREAS, the Sewer Committee has recommended that the Common
Council direct the City Attorney to draft the necessary docu-
ments which will provide for the yearly collection of sewer
usage fees by placing it on the tax bill as a separate item,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Sewer Committee,
does hereby direct the City Attorney to draft the necessary
documents which will make possible the collection of all sewer
usage fees once a year by its incorporation into the City's real
estate tax bill as a separate item.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that it would be the intent of the
Council to have those charges appear on the 1974 real estate
tax bill.
