URGING PLAN COMMISSION APPROVAL OF SIGN FOR
PARKLAND CINEMA
WHEREAS, the members of the Comnon Council of the City of Muskego
have been advised that the Plan Comnission, at its meeting held on
June 18, 1974, rejected Resolution #P.C. 67-74, As Amended, which
provided for the approval of a sign for the proposed Parkland
Cinema, and
WHEREAS, the Common Council, although recognizing the prerogatives
of the Plan Commission as established by State Laws and the City’s
Municipal Code would nevertheless wish to express their concern
over that action, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the Common Council that a theater
could be an asset to the community,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego urges the Plan Commission to review once again the plans
for a sign for the Parkland Cinema with special effort being taken
to reach a satisfactory compromise.
