DIRECTING CITY ATTORNEY TO CREATE SPECIAL ASSESSMENT DISTRICTS
(Re: Lake Rehabilitation)
WHEREAS, the Legislature of the State of Wisconsin has recently
adopted a Lake Rehabilitation Program, and
WHEREAS, one of the requirements of the legislation is that a special
assessment district be established, and
WHEREAS, the city has received a request from the Little Muskego
Lake Association to create the necessary district required under
Assembly Bill #A766, and
WHEREAS, they have further requested that the Council take the
necessary action to create a separate assessment district involving
those people around LLttle Muskego Lake which could be used for
weed removal, etc.,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby direct its City Attorney to review the recently
enacted lake rehabilitation measure and to present to the Council
the steps needed to assure the creation of the proper assessment
district under the legislation.
BE IT FVRTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney is directed to prepare
the necessary resolutions in order that a special assessment district
can be
