HONORING MUSKEGO'S AFS STUDENT - HENRI MERTENS
WHEREAS, for the past six years many local citizens have
given generously of their time and efforts to maintain the
American Field Service Program in Muskego, and
WHEREAS, it is the aim of the AFS Program to promote under-
standing, friendship andbowledge between the people of the
world by arranging an interchange of students between the United
States and other countries, and
WHEREAS, for the past year MuskeBo has been privileged to have
as their AFS student Mr. Henri Mertens from the country of
Luxembourg and
during his visit in Muskego, and
WHEREAS, Henri has exemplified the purpose of the AFS Program
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego does hereby honor Mr. Henri Mertens as Muskego's
sixth AFS student and extends to him an invitation to return
to our city some day in the future.
