AUTHORIZING THE PREPARATION OF A
BI-MONTHLY NEWSLETTER
WHEREAS, an informed citizenry can help insure a greater
participation in their government by the citizens, and
confidence in government as well as to make possible more
WHEREAS, there is a need periodically for reminders to citizens
of the community as they relate to burning, animals, nuisances,
installation of culverts, sump pumps, etc., and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the newsletter presently
being published by the Muskego-Norway Schools has an extremely
high percentage ofTeaders who feel they get a great deal of
benefit from the newsletter, and
WHEREAS, it is estimated that a newsletter of the size and
quality presently being used by the Muskego-Norway School
District would cost the City of Muskego approximately $300.00,
and
WHEREAS, a bi-monthly newsletter would be of great benefit to the
of $1200.00 for the year 1974,
citizens of the community which would more than offset the cost
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby approve of the preparation of a bi-monthly
newsletter to be mailed to all citizens whithin the community.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk is authorized to transfer
$1200.00 from the unappropriated surplus to cover the cost of a
newsletter for the year 1974. n
