DECLARING INTENT TO HAVE TOWER DRIVE
BECOME A PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY
WHEREAS, Tower Drive, extending west of Pioneer Drive, is not a
public road, and
WHEREAS, the lots which were platted have been fully developed,
and
WHEREAS, several residents living on the road have expressed a
desire to have Tower Drive become a public road in order that
it can be maintained properly, and
WHEREAS, the residents have also expressed a desire that the
procedure to make it a public road be such that it would not be
possible to connect Pioneer Drive with Horn Field by Tower Drive,
and
WHEREAS, Tower Drive has only a 30' right-of-way and therefore
an additional 10' on each side of the road would be required to
be dedicated by the property owners, and
WHEREAS, it would be advisable to make Tower Drive a public
right-of-way if at all feasible,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby declare its intent to consider making Tower
Drive a public road.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Public Works Committee is directed
to have the necessary engineering and legal work done in order
that sufficient right-of-way can be dedicated.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Public Works Committee report its
findings back to the Common Cficil.
