DIRECTING THE CITY. ATTORNEY TO DRAFT AN AMENDMENT
TO THE ORDINANCE RELATING TO DEPRECIATION OF SEWER
COLLECTION SYSTEM
m WHEREAS. on the 29th day of October.1968 and on the 10th day of
July, 1973 the city adopted Ordinance 1128 and 8260 respectively,
regarding the issuance of the sale of $220,000.00 and $915,000.00
for the sewer system mortgage revenue bonds, and
WHEREAS. one of the provisions of those ordinances provide for
depreciation of the sewer system in 75 years, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Ordinances #128 and #260 be
amended so that the depreciation rate be changed from 75 years
to 125 year life,
THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby direct the City Attorney to prepare the
necessary amendments to Ordinance 8128 and #260 which will provide
for change in the depreciation period for the city's sewer system
from 75 years to 125 years. e A
