SUPPORTING FEDERAL AID SYSTEM REALIGNMENT
e VHEREAS, Congress has passed the 1973 Federal Aid Highway
Act; and
iiHEREAS, this Act includes substantial changes in theterminology @ and structure of the existing Federal Aid Systems; and
dHEREAS, the Jurisdictional Highway System Plan for Naukesha
County provides a basis for planning roadway inprovements on the
respective systems of highways in Naukesha County; and
IJHEREAS, a realignment of Federal Aid Systems in conformance with the
provisions of the 1973 Federal Aid Highway Act is required step for
continued use of Federal Highway Aid in the urbanized area; and
UJHEREAS, this realignment is consistent with the proposed Juris-
dictional Highway System Plan and is shown on an exhibit entitled,
"Proposed k'ederal Aid Systems", dated February, 1974,
THERSFOG BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Cancil of the City of
Muskego concurs with the proposed Federal Aid System realignment as shown on the attached exhibit entitled, 'Proposed Federal Aid
Systems:, dated February, 1974, and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Muskego requests
Waukesha County; the Southeastern disconsin Regional Planning
the Federal Highway Administration, to realign the Federal Aid
Commission; the Nisconsin Department of Transportation; and
Systems, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVAD, that the City Clerk of the City of Muskego
transmit to the Department of Transportattion, Division of Highways,
District 2 Office, a certified n copy of &his resolution.
