AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF MONIES FROM THE GENEML
FUND FOR THE PURCHASE OF BICYCLE SAFETY FLAGS
WHEREAS, the Public Safety Committee and the Finance Committee
has recommended that the Council consider providing bicycle safety
flags to the purchaser of a Bicycle License, and
WHEREAS, much of the cost will be offset through the license fees
and therefore is a self-supporting program,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common council of the City of
Muskego does hereby authorize the transfer of $1,300.00 from the
General Fund to Acct.# 520.048 Other Supplies and Expenses to
cover the cost of purchasing bicycle safety flags.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that it is the intent of the Common Council
that the use of these flags is voluntary and not mandatory.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED it is the intent of the Council to have the
cost of tk fBgs offset by Bicycle License fees. a DATED THIS DAY OF , 1974.
