CCR1974076RESOLUTION #76-74 AS AMENDED
AUTHORIZING THE HIRING OF PROFESSIONAL HELP
TO ASSIST THE CITY IN NEGOTIATIONS
WHEREAS, the negotiations between the city and the Muskego
Professional Policeman's Association appear to be deadlocked,
and
dHEREAS. the Wisconsin Fhlovee's Relations Board has been
petitioAed for compulsory' anh binding arbitration as provided for in the State Statutes, and
would be in the best interest of the city to be represented
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the Finance Committee that it
by a negotiator if arbitration is necessary, and
WHEREAS, it has been estimated that the cost of such a negotiator
could amount to approximately $2,000.00,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego does hereby authorize the Fiance Committee to engage
the services of a professional labor negotiator to aid them in the forthcoming arbitration process should it become necessary.
