URGING REPAIRS TO LINNIE LAC DAM
WHEREAS, there is a growing concern over the disrepair of
the Linnie Lac Dam, and
WHEREAS, any further deterioration would increase the possibility
of total collapse of the dam which would seriously affect
and
the efforts which have been made to improve Little Muskego Lake,

WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Muskego feels that
some immediate action is needed to prevent a disaster,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
Natural Resources to review the condition of Linnie Lac Dam.
of Muskego does hereby respectfully urge the Department of
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Department of Natural Resources
make whatever recommendations are necessary to make the the
structure structurallysound.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of New Berlin is urged to
consider the affect a collapse of the dam would have on Muskego
and cooperate with the DNR in solving this problem.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution shall be
sent to Mr. Voight of the Department of Natural Resources and
Mayor Harry Eberle of the City of New Berlin.
