EXTENDING CONGRATUIATIONS TU MIKE RIND0
a WHEREAS, the City of Muskego has been honored by having one of its young men win the State of Wisconsin Voice of Democracy contest,
and
WHEREAS , this contest, sponsored by the VFW Post #3171, has as
one of its goals the need to make citizens aware of their respon-
sibility to the community in which they live and aware of the many
blessings of living in a democratic society, and
WHEREAS, Mike Rindo has, by placing first in the local district
and state competition, earned the right to represent his city and
state in the national competition to be held in Washington, D. C.,
and
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Muskego wishes to
recognize the hard work and dedication which was needed in order
for Mike Undo to gain the statewide victory,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego does hereby extend, in the name of all the people in
the city, its congratulations to Mike Rindo for his accomplishments
in the Voice of Democracy competition.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Common Council also extends its
best wishes to Mike for a successful conclusion in his effort to
win the national competition in the Voice of Democracy contest.
