(AS AMENDED)
ESTABLISHING TEMPORARY PARTTIME POSITION OF
ADVISOR TO THE LIBRARY
WHEREAS, the former Librarian has resigned and the Library
Board has hired a new City Librarian, and
WHEREAS, it is the Library Board's recommendation that the
former Librarian be hired as a parttime advisor to the Library
working an average of 15 hours per week, and
WHEREAS, funds have been provided in the 1974 budget for the
temporary parttime position of Advisor to the Library,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council, upon the
recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby establish
the parttime position of Advisor to the Library at a salary
of $3.84 per hour.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this position is considered to be
temporary and will be reviewed by the Library Board and the
Finance Committee at the end of the fiscal year 1974.
