CCR1973212RESOLUTION#212 -73 RESOLUTION DECLARING THE INTENT OF THE MUSKEG0 COMMON - COUNCIL TO HOLD A NEW OFFICIAL PUBLIC HEARING ON THE * .. ~ ~ ~~~~ PROPOSED REVISIONS TO OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AND ZONING WHEN ALL THE FACTS ARE DETERMINED AND AVAILABLE. ORDINANCE PRIOR TO ADOPTION OR DENIAL OF SAME, AND WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Muskego held to official Zoning Map and Zoning Ordinance, at which a Public Hearing October 15, 1973 regarding revisions were not known or available. time may of the facts and consequences to the Citizens 0 * WHEREAS, the proposed maps showed large sections of land to be rezoned Envirarmental and Open Space. These two zones never existed or defined. These proposed zones are not included in or official Zoning Map or Zoning Ordinance. WHEREAS, the Muskego Common Council is fully aware that the Fair Market Value from these lands, thereby affecting zoning of land Envmmental or Open Space will remove the saleability of same. Plans should have been devised for financing the purchase of these lands, or compensating the owners for their loss. WHEREAS, the Common Council and Plan Commission are plann- ing a drainage system study for the City of Muskego at projected cost of $60,000. This will affect the Master Plan, Official Zoning Map and Zoning Ordinance, making some of the proposed revisions of today obsolete and outdated. 'WHEREAS, the Common Council has hired a second planner to study the need for school and park sites, which is a part of the Master Plan, Zoning Map and Zoning Ordinance, and as such must be coordinated and made part of the over- all planning. THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Common Council of the City of Muskego, in the best interest of the Citizens, declares their intent to hold a new official Public Hearing on the proposed revisions to the Official Zoning Map'and when all the facts are coordinated and available.
