APPROVING OF SETTLEMENT WITH BELL-REICHL, INC.
(c WHEREAS, a dispute has arisen between the City of Muskego
and Bell-Reichl, Inc., general contractors for the instal-
lation of the oxidation system in the northwest treatment
plant, and
WHEREAS, after meeting with representatives of Bell-Reichl,
Inc., an agreement was reached whereby Bell-Reichl, Inc.
consents to a mutual release of all claims and a compromise
and settlement of its invoice balance of $13,688.18 for
$8,500.00 , and
a
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Sewer Committee
that it would be in the best interest of the city to accept
this settlement,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego does hereby approve of the settlement
agreement between the City of Muskego and Bell-Reichl, Inc.
for an amount of $8,500.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Clerk are authorized
to execute the necessary documents in the name of the city.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed to
make immediate payment to Bell-Reichl, Inc.
