CORRECTING ERRONEOUS ASSESSMENT
(Parkland Plaza)
WHEREAS, on October 23, 1970, Muskego Parkland Shopping
Center, Inc., deeded to the City of Muskego approximately
15 acres of land, and
WHEREAS, this dedication was the result of agreements
established for the planned development in that area, and
WHEREAS, the City has been advised by Assessor Paul DeAngelis
that he inadvertantly included the 15 acres in the 1972 tax
roll and there should be a reduction of $18,200.00 on their
assessment and therefore a credit in taxes of $505.54,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego does hereby accept the recommendation of
City Assessor Paul DeAngelis to reduce the net tax on
property owned by Muskego Shopping Center, Inc. by $505.54
for the year 1972.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is authorized
to make the necessary adjustments to Waukesha County.
