RESOLUTION REQUIRING THE PAYMENT OF DELINQUENT
WITHHOLDING TAXES AND STATE SALES TAX PRIOR TO
THE ISSUANCE OF CLASS "A" AND CLASS "B" FERMENTED
MALT BEVERAGE AND INTOXICATING LIQUOR LICENSES
WHEREAS, the State of Wisconsin has requested that the Common
Council of the City of Muskego withhold the issuance of
Class "A" and Class "B" Intoxicating Liquor and Fermented
Malt Beverage Licenses until all delinquent withholding tax
and sales taxes are paid to the State of Wisconsin, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended the adoption
of the necessary resolution,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that no Class "A" or Class "B"
Intoxicating Liquor or Fermented Malt Beverage License shall
be issued to any person who has delinquent withholding tax
or sales tax due the State of Wisconsin until the taxpayer
makes satisfactory arrangements with the State of Wisconsin
to pay these delinquent taxes.
