CCR1973048RESOLUTION 1/48-73 ESTABLISHING THE CITY'S INTENT TO CHANGE THE PERSONNEL STRUCTURE OF THE MUSKEGO POLICE DEPARTMENT WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has been evaluating the personnel structure of the police department and have determined that the present size of the department does not justify the existing three lieutenant positions, and WHEREAS, the Finance Committee feels that the city should go on record regarding its intention to change the present personnel structure of the department which would provide for one lieutenant position rather than three, and WHEREAS, it is the Finance Cmittee's recommendation that this not occur until the positions become vacant, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of Muskego does hereby determine that, upon the the recommendation of the Finance Committee, it is only necessary to have one position of lieutenant in the Police Department. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that it would be the intent of the Council that, upon the vacancy of the first two lieutenant positions of the three now existing, those positions shall be abolished.
