ACCEPTANCE OF LOW BID FOR NEW HIGHWAY TRUCK
EQUIPPED WITH MATERIAL SPREADER AND SNOW PLOW
a WHEREAS, the 1973 Public Works Capital Budget provides for the
purchase of a new 1973 model highway truck equipped with a
material spreader and snow plow, and
WHEREAS, bids for said equipment have been advertised for,
and
WHEREAS, the following bids have been received:

International Harvester 11,835.00

and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Committee has recommended that the
alternate bid (diesel) of International Harvester Company in
the amount of $13,988.00 be accepted, including $200.00 for
automatic air brakes,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego does hereby accept the alternate bid of International
Harvester Company in the amount of $13,988.00 for a new diesel
highway truck equipped with a material spreader, snow plow and
automatic air brakes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized
to execute the necessary documents in the name of the city.
