AUTHORIZING PAYMENT OF SEWER CONTRACTORS
IN THE NORTHEAST DISTRICT
.WHEREAS, the City of Muskego has withheld monies for the
sewer projects done in the Northeast District as liquidated
damages, and
WHEREAS, a dispute has arisen between the contractors and
the City over what constitutes liquidated damages, and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney and the Attorney for the con-
tractors are working on a negotiated settlement, and

WHEREAS, the Finance Comittee has recommended that monies
be released to all sewer contractors in the Northeast
District with the exception of Edward R. Ryan, Inc., with
the understanding that 10 per cent be withheld to cover
agreed upon by the attorneys and the Sewer and Finance
incompleted restoration plus the amount of settlement
Comnittees.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Clerk is authorized
to make the necessary payments after certification by the
Engineering Firm of Ruekert 8 Mielke as provided above.
