DENIAL OF REQUEST OF WISCONSIN COUNCIL OF COUNTY
AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES TO BE RECOGNIZED AS
BARGAINING AGENT FOR MUSKEG0 CITY HALL AND LIBRARY
EMPLOYEES
WHEREAS, the City of Muskego has received a letter from the
Wisconsin Council of County and Municipal Employees requesting
that the City of Muskego recognize said labor union as the
bargaining agent for the Muskego City Hall and Library employees,
and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee is recommending that the Common
Council deny the request and further recommends that the Council
require a formal petition and hearing before the Wisconsin
Employment Relations Commission,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego does hereby deny the request of the Wisconsin Council
of County and Municipal Employees, dated November 13, 1972, to
be recognized as the bargaining agent for the employees of the
Muskego City Hall and Library.
