RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING REPORT ON PETITION TO
OPEN KURTZE LANE AS A PUBLIC STREET
WHEREAS, a petition to open Kurtze Lane as a public street
has been filed with the Common Council,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Public Works
prepare a report upon said petition, consisting of the
following:
(1) A statement whether the petition is sufficiently
signed pursuant to Statute, and if so,
(2) A particular description of each lot or parcel or
subdivision of land proposed to be taken for the proposed
street , and
(3) A plat of the proposed street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the Public Works
Committee are authorized to retain two appraisers to appraise
said properties and to make a report to them as to the costs,
if any, to the City in the event condemnation proceedings are
undertaken.
