EXPRESSING THE CITY'S GRATITUDE FOR
HOSPITALITY EXTENDED TO ITS CITIZENS
WHEREAS, during June, 1972, the Mu&ey 4-H Club of Muskego,
Wisconsin, embarked on a trip to the State of Wyoming, and
WHEREAS, they found themselves stranded in Harrison, Nebraska,
as a result of a breakdown of their bus, and
WHEREAS, the citizens of Harrison, Nebraska, provided the
travelers with food, entertainment and the use of the City
Park facilities while repairs were being made, and
WHEREAS, this hospitality exemplifies the spirit of friendliness
needed between communities even though they are many miles
apart, and

a WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Muskego wishes to
express their gratitude for the kindness extended,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego does hereby extend to the residents of Harrison,
Nebraska, the gratitude of all the citizens of the City of
Muskego for the hospitality extended to citizens of our
community in their time of need.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution shall
be entered into the official minutes of the City of Muskego
and a certified copy sent to the proper officials of Harrison,
Nebraska.
