AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT TO PARTICIPATE WlTH
SOUTHEASTERN WISCONSIN REGIONAL PLAN
COMMISSION IN THE STUDY OF THE DEEP
SANDSTONE AQUIFER
WHEREAS, the Southeastern Wisconsin Regional Plan Commission
has requested that the communities in the southeastern region
participate in a study to determine the capacity of the sand-
stone aquifer to provide a sufficient amount of water for the
region, and
WHEREAS, the cost to the City of Muskego would be $450.00 for the
year 1972 and the same for 1973, and
WHEREAS, such a study would help the city in determining what affect
future growth will have on the water supply presently serving the
city,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the city
of Muskego does hereby agree to participate with SEWRPC in the
study of the ability of the region to provide adequate water
to the seven county region.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the cost of such participation does
not exceed $900.00 for 1972 and 1973 and does hereby authorize the
Clerk to transfer the amount of #450.00 from the Contingency Fund
to Acct. # 258, City Planning.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Ma.yor and Clerk are authorized
to execute the necessary agreements in the name of the city.
