AUTHORIZING THE DREDGING COMMITTEE TO DISCUSS
DREDGING PROJECT WITH CONSULTING ENGINEERS a
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Muskego has authorized
the taking of an option on a dredge owned by the Kupfer Iron
Works and has borrowed the monies necessary to purchase said
dredge, and
a
WHEREAS, it has become increasingly clear that the proposed
dredging project is of such magnitude that persons with exper-
ience in projects of this sort must be involved, and
WHEREAS, the Dredging Committee of the Watershed Commission,
at their meeting of June 19, 1972, requested permission to seek
out a competent consultant to work with the city in this effort,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego, recognizing the need for expert opinion in this
matter, does hereby authorize the Dredging Committee of the
Watershed Commission to interview, in the name of the city,
several consulting firms with experience in dredging, to de-
termine the possible cost of their services.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Dredging Committee will report
its findings and recommend
