DENYING THE REQUEST FOR MUNICIPAL SEWERS TO
SERVE THE LAZYNSKI - BECK PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the city has received a preliminary plat for the
Lazynski Beck property, and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission has requested some indication
as to whether or not public sewers would be available to the
area prior to their recommendation, and
WHEREAS, the Public Sewer Committee, upon the evaluation of
the sewage capacity still available in the northwest treatment
plant, have recommended that the Common Council not serve the
Lazynski Beck property with municipal sewers at this time,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Comon Council of the City
of Muskego does hereby determine that the municipal sewer
service will not be made available to the Lazynski Beck
property located in Section 9.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the request be denied because
present commitments provide for 717 out of a possible 950
residential living units, that 209.5 acres of land have
already been assessed on the 10-year installment basis and
several of these owners have indicated a desire to develop.
Also, the city is developing its Industrial Park and this,
together with commercial development, will require sewer
facilities. Further, the denial is in accord with the guide-
lines established in Resolution irl220-71 and for other reasons
contained in the records of the Plan Commission and the Common
Council .
