ACCEPTANCE OF BID FOR NEW HIGHWAY
TRACTOR AND MOWER
WHEREAS, the Public Works Committee had been authorized to advertise
for bids for a new highway tractor and mower, and
WHEREAS, the following bids have been, received:
Bosch Hardware and Implement Co. $4,735.00
Connell Equipment Co. 4,676.70
Milwaukee Ford Tractor 4,446.06
Eichstadt Implement, Inc. 4,325.00
Oak Creek Equipment Co. 4,395.00
and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Committee has recommended that the bid
of Oak Creek Equipment Co. in the amount of $4,395.00 be accepted,
and
WHEREAS, the higher bid has been recommended because of the
better grade of tires which come with the tractor,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby accept the bid of Oak Creek Equipment Co. €or
a new highway tractor and mower in the amount of $4,395.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Clerk are authorized
to execute the necessary legal documents in the name of the city.
