REQUESTTNG THE WAUKESHA COUNTY HIGHWAY
DEPARTMENT M CONSTRUCT A SHADOW LANE
AT PIONEER DRIVE AND RACINE AVENUE
0 WHEREAS, the reconstruction of Racine Avenue has created an
intersection where Pioneer Drive and Racine Avenue meet, and
WHEREAS, the increased traffic on Racine Avenue has caused a
problem for those vehicles wishing to turn east on Pioneer
Drive, and
WHEREAS, the Public Safety Committee has recommended that
a proper shadow lane be installed at that intersection to provide
safety for those vehicles turning unto Pioneer Drive,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego does hereby urge the Waukesha County Highway Commission
to take the necessary action which will provide for the con-
struction of a proper shadow lane on Racine Avenue to aid vehicles
turning east on Pioneer Drive.
