GRANTING RAMPLEX CONSTlUJCTION CO. PERMISSION
To ASSIGN ITS CONTRACT WITH THE CITY
(MSS-6-70)
WHEREAS, Ramplex Construction Co., Inc. was awarded a contract
for the installation of sanitary sewers in the City and has
indicated its desire to assign said contract to Michels Pipeline
Construction, Inc., and
WHEREAS, the contract provides as follows:
5.17 ASSIGNMENT:
The Contractor shall not assign or sublet the whole
or any part of the work under this contract without
the written consent of the owner, both as to such
assigning and subletting and as to the specific
party to whom it is proposed to assign or sublet the
same. Notwithstanding any such approval, the Con-
tractor shall remain fully responsible and liable for
the complete performance of the work performed pursu-
ant to such assignment or subletting and for the
material delivered to emplaced under the same.

WHEREAS, the proposed assignee, Michels Pipeline Construction, Inc.
has furnished satisfactory proof of financial responsibility t:o
Ruekert & Mielke, Consulting Engineers, and
WHEREAS, a Performance Bond will be required, pursuant to Sect:ion
5.03, before any work on the contract may begin,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Ramplex Construction Co., Inc. be
allowed to assign said contract in full, to Michels Pipeline
Construction, Inc., and that Michels Pipeline Construction, Imc.
be allowed to accept the same, upon the filing of Performance
Bond as required by Section 5.03 of the contract, said assignment
and acceptance of the contract to be subject to all of the te~ms,
conditions and provisions there%
