AUTHORIZING FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR
WATERSHED COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the City of Muskego lies within a watershed comprised of the cities of New Berlin and Muskego and the Town of Norway,
and
WHEREAS, the rebuilding of the dam structures in this area wou1.d
be beneficial, and
WHEREAS, Federal funds may be available to help defray part of
the cost of the rebuilding of these structures as well as pro-
viding some monies to help in the reclamation of Big Muskego La.ke,
and
WHEREAS, the request for a Feasibility Study to the Federal
Government must be made through the Waukesha County Extension
Department, and e WHEREAS, the Muskego Watershed Commission has recommended that
the City of Muskego, in cooperation with the City of New Berlin
and the Town of Norway, request the Waukesha County Extension
Department to apply for a Feasibility Study.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Cmon Council of the City
of Muskego does hereby request that the Waukesha County Agricul.tura1
Committee, through the Extension Department, to apply to the Fed-
eral Government for a Feasibility Study of the watershed of which
Muskego is a part.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution shall be
sent to the City of New Berlivnd the Town of Norway.
