RESOLUTION #185-70
ACCEPTANCE OF BID FOR MUNICIPAL SEWER PROJECT
MSS-8-70
Northwest District F-6
WHEREAS, the City Clerk was directed to advertise for bids for thep
proposed sewer project for the City of Muskego, and
WHEREAS, the following bids have been received for Project MSS-8-70
which includes the resurfacing of roads with bituminous asphalt:
L & R Construction $ 198,395.00
Cathlina Construction 209,611.00 Edw. Ryan 233,720.00 Tomasini Contractors 231,167.50 Leo Dretzka 236,252.00 Rock Contractors 251,965.50 United Sewer & Water 257,221.00 Super Excavators 261,322.50
and
WHEREAS, the Consulting Engineer, Ruekert & Mielke, Inc. and the
Public Works Committee have recommended that the bid for Project
MSS-8-70 be awarded to L & R Construction Co.,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby award the bid for the proposed Sewer Project
MSS-8-70 to L & R Construction Co. in the amount of $198,395.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk-Comptroller and the
Mayor are hereby authorized to sign the contract in the name of
the City of Muskego
