AUTHORIZING THE PARK AND RECREATION BOARD
To SELL A PARCEL OF LAND TD
DOUGLAS FRANZEN
w WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Board has declared that a
35-foot strip of land a.djacent to the basketball courts in
Jensen Park is surplus land, and
WHEREAS, they have asked permission from the Common Council
to sell the land to the adjoining property owner, Mr. Douglas
Franzen, for the sum of $30.00 per foot, plus the sewer
assessment, and
WHEREAS, the Public Welfare Committee and the Plan Commission
has approved of the sale,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego does hereby authorize the Park and Recreation Board
to sell Mr. Douglas Franzen a 35-foot strip of land adjacent
to the playground area of Jensen Park for $30.00 per foot plus
the sewer assessment.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney is directed to
prepare the necessary document and the City Clerk and Mayor
are authorized to execute same in the name of the city.
