INDICATING INTENT TD REZONE 13 ACRES ON THE
GEORGE SCHAEETR PARCEL To RSM WITH AN OPD
OVERLAY
WHEREAS, Northland Developers, Inc. have petitioned the Cmon
Council of the City of Muskego to rezone 13 acres of the George
Schaefer property from RS2 to RSM with an OPD Overlay, and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission has recommended that the request be
approved, subject to an agreement that a ratio of 36 three bedroom,
36 two bedroom and 36 one bedroom units be maintained and that
the agreement required by OPD between the City of Muskego and
the developer setting forth specific details of the project be
executed,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby accept the recommendation of the Plan Commission
and declares its intention to rezone 13 acres of the George Schaefer
property described in the proposal of Northland Developers, Inc.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this statement of intent by the Council
is predicated upon the execution of a satisfactory agreement be-
tween the City and Northland Developers which details the plans
for the area as required in OPD zoning including a commitment that
no more than 36 three bedroom, 36 two bedroom and 36 one bedroom
units will be constructed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution is being adopted to
give Northland Developers sufficient assurance of rezoning to
warrant their spending additional funds for the preparation of
the final details of this development.
