AWARDING OB C0PJTRACT FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION OF
DRAINAGE CULVERT IN THE TESS CORNERS AREA
WHEREAS the Common Council authorized the Public Works Committee
to advertise for bids for the purpose of replacing the existing
culvert in the Tess Corners area, and
WHEREAS, the following bids were received:
Brookfield Culvert, Inc. $ 11,762..25
Edw. R. Ryan, Inc. 19,939.00
Leo Neuman 24,427 .. 00
L & R Construction Co., Inc. 24,600.00
Super Excavators, Inc. 39,878-00
and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Committee has recomended that Brookfield
Culvert, Inc. be awarded the contract subject to the provision
that an additional cost of time and material for additional length
required but not provided for in the specifications,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Comon Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby accept the bid from Brookfield Culvert, Inc.
in the amount of $11,762.25 for the replacement of culvert in
the Tess Corners area.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Common Council approve the
additional cost of time and material required to install
additional length of culvert not provided for in the specifications.
