CCR1970117. .- ~ RESOLVTION X117-70 PRELIMINARY RESOLLTION DECLARING INTENT TO LEVY SPECIAL ASSESSMENT FOR SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENTS IN AREA KNOWN AS "NORTHWEST DISTRICT, AREA 2, 2-5" RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Muskego, 'Wisconsin: pxercise its power under Section 66.60, Wisconsin Statutes, to levy area for special benefits conferred upon such property by reason of area to be known as "Northwest District, Area 2, E-5": the installation of sanitary sewer pipes in the City of Muskego, said 1. The Common Council hereby declares its intention to eecial assessments upon property within the following described All that part of Sections 4, 5, and 8, Town 5 North, Range 20 East, City of Muskego, Waukesha County, Wisconsin, described as follows: All of Jewel Crest Subdivision except Lot 5, Block 24; all of Lendale Heights Subdivision; all of Oak Ridge Subdivision (unrecorded); all vision (unrecorded); the following lots in Muskego Shores Subdivision: of Lembezeder Grove Subdivision (unrecorded); all of Manske's Subdi- Lots 1 through 3, Block 2, all of-Block 3, all o? Block 4, all of Block 5., Lots 1 through 5, Block 6, Lots 1 thrsugh 5, Block 7; all Mill Valley Heights Subdivision (unrecorded) except Lot 9; all of Wentland's Addition Subdivision (unrecorded); all of Lockhurst Pla all of Hillview Parm Plat; all of Hillview Subdivision except lots 32, 33, 34, and 35; the following lots in Bay Shore Estates Subdiv sion: Lot 1 Block 1, Lots 1 through 5, Block 2; all unplatted land in the following locations: along Martin Drive from College Avenue to the East & line of Section 4: along the entire length of TODaZ of t; 31 9 i .. Drive; along the entire length of RanEh Road; along tKe entire'length of Hardtke Drive; alone the entire length of Garnet Drive; along Island Drive from the East line of Oak Ridge Subdivision (unrecorded) to a point approximately 100 feet East; along the entire length of Gold Drive except that part North of School Drive; along the entire length of Preston Lane; along the entire length of School Drive; along Hillendale Drive from Spring Road to a point approximately 300 feet South of School Drive; along the entire length of a North-South Pri- vate Road at the East end of Wentland Drive; along Wentland Drive from its East end to a point approximately 750 feet West; along the entire length of Hillview Drive; along Lochcrest Boulevard from Richdorf Drive to Racine Avenue. 2. The total amount assessed against the properties in said district shall be made under the police power of the City; a reasonable basis for the said assessments being not in excess of the average cost of installation of an 8 inch sanitarv sewer having an average deDth of do feet- - - 3. The City Engineer is directed to prepare a report con- sisting of: - (a> Final plans and specifications for said improvements. (b) An estimate of the entire cost of the proposed work (c) A schedule of the proposed assessments. (dl A statement that the property against which the or improvement. assessments are proposed is benefited. or in 10 annual installments, or in such installments as will be deter- mined at the public hearing. 4. The assessments against each parcel may be paid in cash 5. Upon completing said report the City Engineer is directed a to file a copy thereof with the City Clerk for public inspection. 6. Upon receiving the report of the City Engineer, the City Clerk is directed to give a notice as required by Section 66.60(7), said notice shall be published as a Class 1 notice in the official Pity newspaper and a copy thereof mailed at least 10 days before the u public hearing to every interested person whose post office address is known or can be ascertained with reasonable diligence.
