ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS
BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of
Muskego that the following traffic regulations as indicated by
the official signs and signals designated are hereby adopted. e The Highway Superintendent in conformity with Chapter 349 Statutes shall place the following official traffic signs
and signals at the intersections and upon the highways indicated;
that said signs and signals shall be so located as to give adequate
warning to users of the highway and no provision of the Traffic
Ordinance (Chapter 7 of the Municipal Code for Muskego) of the City
of Muskego with respect thereto, shall be enforceable unless and
until such signs are erected and in place and sufficiently legible
to be seen by an ordinarily observant person.
All resolutions or parts of the resolutions inconsisten,t
with or contravening this resolution are hereby repealed.
SPEED LIMITS ESTABLISHED
On Racine Avenue
50 mph from the City of Moskego's north limits to a
point just north of the Hi-Y Ranches Subdivision thereof
40 mph from a point just north of the Hi-Y Ranches
Subdivision south to the junction of C.T.H. "Y" and
S.T.H. 24 thereof
C.T.H. "Y" shall not be posted from the junction of C.T.H.
"Y" and S.T.H. 24 to the junction of C.T.H. "Yll and Pioneer
Drive. The non-posting recognizes the statutory limit
of 65/55 on a County Trunk.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall file
this resolution in her office as part of the original city records.
