CCR1970031RESOLUTION #31-70 PRELIMINARY RESOLUTION DECLARING INTENT TO LEVY SPECIAL ASSESSMENT FOR SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENTS IN AREA KNOWN AS "NORTHWEST DISTRICT, AREA I, E-5". RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Muskego, Wisconsin: * I. The Common Council hereby declares its intention to exercise its power under Section 66.60, Wisconsin Statutes, to levy special assessments upon property within the following described area for special benefits conferred upon such property by reason of the installation of sanitary sewer pipes in the City of Muskego, said area to be known as "Northwest District, Area I, E-5": All that part of Sections 8 and 9, Town 5 North, Range 20 East, City of Muskego, Waukesha County, Wisconsin, described as follows: All of Bay Shore Hills Subdivision, except Lots I and 2, Block I, Lot 12, Block 2, Lots I through 4, Block 4, Lots I through 4, Block 5: all of Bav Shore Estates Subdivi sion except Lot I, 14 through 16, Block Bay Shore Assessor's Plat; all unplatted d Racine Avenue from e Road North to reloca- Block I, Lots I through 5, Block 2, Lots 3, Lots 2, 3, 15 and 16, Block 4; all of Plat; all of Oak Grove Plat; all of King land in the following locations: along o approximately 150 feet North of Janesvil e I I ted C.T.H. "Y"; along Oak Grove Lane from old Racine Avenue North to the South line of Bay Shore Estates Subdivision; along Sunset Drive from C.T.H. "Y" to Westlyn Drive; on Oak Court; along Shore Lane; along Richdorf Drive from the North line of Lot I, Block 3, North to a point approximately 200 feet South of the centerline of Lochcrest Boulevard. 2. The total amount assessed against the properties in said district shall be made under the police power of the City; a reasonable basis for the said assessments being not in excess of the average cost of installation of an 8 inch sanitary sewer having an average depth of IO feet. 3. The City Engineer is directed to prepare a report con- sisting of: (a) Final plans and specifications for said improvements. (b) An estimate of the entire cost of the proposed work (c) A schedule of the proposed assessments. (d) A statement that the property against which the assessments are proposed is benefited. or improvement. 4. The assessments against each parcel may be paid in cash or in IO annual installments, or in such installments as will be deter- mined at the public hearing. 5. Upon completing said report the City Engineer is directed * to file a copy thereof with the City Clerk for pub1 ic inspection. 6.
