AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF LAND
ABUTTING JENSEN PARK
WHEREAS it has been discovered through the recent reassessment
of the City that land owned by Mr. James Warwick overlapped
the hard surfaced play area at Jensen Park by 27 feet, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Warwick has agreed to sell 35 feet of this portion
of land infringed on by the City for its present assessed
value of $40.00 per foot, and
WHEREAS, legal expenses incurred by Mr. Warwick would amount
to approximately $200.00,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego does hereby authorize the Park and Recreation
Board to purchase 35 feet of property owned by Mr. James Warwick
in the name of the City for an amount not to exceed $1,600.00
