RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING INSTALLATION OF
MANHOLES AND SEWER LATERALS TO SERVE PARCELS
A AND B OF CERTIFIED SURVEY MAP #734617
WHEREAS, the City has installed a sewer main in County
Trunk Highway "Y" to serve property adjacent thereto; and
WHEREAS, the properties described as Parcels A and B
of Certified Survey Map #734617 are in a position to be serviced
by said main, but two buildings are located on each of said par-
cels; and
WHEREAS, it is contrary to the provisions of the State
Plumbing Code to serve two buildings on each parcel of land with
one sewer service lateral, but the State has advised the City
that if a manhole is installed at or near the property line and
a separate sewer service provided to each building, and the City
accepts the responsibility for maintenance of the laterals from
the manhole to the municipal sewage main in the street, that the
each building, which laterals will ultimately connect with the
sewer main.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that upon the installa-
tion of six-inch laterals serving the buildings on Parcels A and
B of Certified Survey Map #734617, recorded in the Office of the
Register of Deeds for Waukesha County, Wisconsin, on March 21,
1969, that the City shall accept said laterals as part of the
municipal sewer system to be known as sewer sub mains.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City shall assume the
responsibility for the dntenance of the laterals from the man-
hole to the municipal sewage main in the street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that any expenses incurred by
the City pursuant to this resolution and resulting from the
maintenance and upkeep of said laterals shall be assessed to the a property served thereby.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution is Dassed
and approved by the Common Council of the City of Muskego upon
condition that a sewage covenant agreement be executed by the
owners of said Parcels A and B, and filed as a part of this
resolution and incorporated therein by reference.
