RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING INSTALLATION OF
SEWER LATERAL PURSUANT TO SECTION 3. IO
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE.
WHEREAS, the premises having the post office address
of W180 S7953 Racine Avenue, Muskego, is not served by a sanitary
sewer lateral, and notice to connect to the sewer system has
been duly given to the owner thereof, and remedial work on the
sewer system serving said premises is necessary.
BE IT RESOLVED that pursuant to Section 3.10 of the
Municipal Code (Sewer Service Ordinance) that the City cause the
necessary connection to be made.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the cost thereof be levied
as a special assessmen& tax against the property served, and that
the Public Works Committee and City Engineer arrange for the in-
stallation thereof as soon as possible, including the letting of
bids and awarding of contract therefor.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that if the owner thereof files
with the City within thirty (30) days after completion of said
work, a written notice with the City Clerk stating that he cannot
pay the cost of the connection in one sum and elects to pay such
sum in five (5) annual installments; that the Clerk enter the cost
thereof as a special assessment payable in five (5) equal annual
installments, the first payment due on or before February 28,
1970, together with interest on the unpaid balance at the rate
of six (6%) per cent per annum.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution
be mailed by certified mail to Samuel Jones, c/o Anna Jones, 5162
S. Nicolet Drive, New Berlin, Wisconsin 53151. !
