RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING CHANGE OF
SUPERVISORY DISTRICT IN CITY OF MUSKEG0
WHEREAS, by ordinance adopted October 12, 1965, the
Waukesha County Board of Supervisors placed the territory described
below in Supervisory District No. 34; and

WHEREAS, said territory at the time of the adoption of
said ordinance was a part of the Town of Vernon, but has since been
annexed to the City of Muskego by ordinance adopted on the 12th
of December , 1967 -1 and as a part of said annexation
placed in Ward No. 5 of the City; and
WHEREAS, Wards 3, 4, 5 and 6 of the City, by the County
inance referred to, were placed in Supervisory District No. 33;
WHEREAS, the persons residing in said territory now vote
as residents of Supervisory District No. 34 in county elections
using both voting machines and paper ballots and causing some con-
fusion and inconvenience both to the voters and to the election
officials; and
WHEREAS, the number of persons affected by said annexation
is estimateki-!to be ten persons; and
WHEREAS, the County Board has the authority under Section
59.03(2)(cm) Statutes 1969 to amend the apportionment of supervisory
districts upon a change in municipal boundadi,es due to the annexa..
tion of territory.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council
of the City of Muskego does hereby request the Honorable Waukesha
County Board of Supervisors to consider altering the boundaries
of Supervisory District No. 33 and 34 by taking the territory des-
cribed herein out of District No. 34 and placing it in District No.
33;
All that part of the East One-half of Section 13, Town 5 North,
Range 19 East, Waukesha County, Wisconsin, bounded and described ds
fol lows:
Beginning at a point on the North Line of the Northeast One-quarter
of Section 13, said point being North 89O50' East of and 932.79 feet
distant from the North One-quarter Corner of said section; thence
due South, parallel to the North One-quarter Line of Section 13,
373.86 feet; thence South 44O42' West, 142.00 feet; thence South
64O04' West, 124.45 feet; thence South 89O50' West, parallel to the
aforementioned North line, 177.02 feet; thence Due South, parallel
to the aforementioned North One-quarter Line, 236.72 feet; thence
South 75'43' West, 228.55 feet; thence South 89O45' West, 322.53
feet to a point on the aforementioned North One-quarter Line of
Section 13; thence Due South, along said North One-quarter Line

1816.6 feet to the center of Section 13; thence Easterly along the
East One-quarter line of Section 13, 829.41 feet; thence Southerly,

of Section 13, said point also being on the North Line of the
Electric Company property; thence Easterly dong the said South
Trunk Highway 24; thence Northeasterly along said centerline to
the East Line of Sect ion 13; thence Norther I y along sa id East Line
to the East One-quarter Corner .of Section 13; thence Northerly along
the East Line of the Northeast One-quar& of Section 13, 2645.42
