CCR1969105RESOLUTION #105-69 AS AMENDED AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY ‘Kl DRAFT LEASE AGREEMENT WHEREAS, it is the responsibility of the Mayor and Aldermen to provide safe, sanitary and adequate facilities to serve the citizenry of the City and municipal offices, and WHEREAS, it has been indicated by the City’s Architectural Firm that it would take approximately two years to complete a Civic Center, nor have costs been estimated, and WHEREAS, the following alderman feel it is their responsibility to investigate all avenues in an effort to save the citizens of the City tax monies, now THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Attorney be directed to prepare above mentioned lease encompassing the following: The SE Wisconsin Association of the Wisconsin Conference does agree to provide the building located at W182 S8470 Racine Avenue, for a period of two years, with an option to extend, said facilities to house Mayor, Common Council Chambers, Public Library, City Engineer, City Building Inspector, City Plumbing Inspector, City Treasurer, City Clerk, City Assessor, and Highway Superintendent. In behalf of this generous offer, the City of Muskego does agree to make repairs to boiler, paint exterior and interior of building, repair or replace the sump pump, assume the sewer assessment in the amount of $2,622.38; if subject to taxes, the City will assume such taxes for such period specified in lease, and generally maintain building during terms of lease.
