e ACCEPTANCE OF LOW BID FOR SQUAD CARS FOR
THE POLICE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS 'the present three squad ca.rs of the Police Department
will have approximately 40,000 miles by July 1, 1969, and
WHEREAS it has been recommended by the Chief of Police and the
Safety Committee that they be traded in at this time, and
WHEREAS the Chief of Police had been authorized to advertise
for bids for three new squad cars, and
WHEREAS the following bids were received:
E. J. Salentine - $ 3,807.24
Holz Motors - 3,877.53
Doering Motor Co. - 4,696.95
Peters Dodge - 4,829.55 a
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego does hereby accept the low bid for three squad cars
from E. J. Salentine at a cost not to exceed $3,807.24.
