AS AMENDED
A RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN RIGHT-OF-WAYS
SURROUNDING LITTLE MUSKEG0 LAKE TO BE PUBLIC
RIGHT-OF-WAYS
WHEREAS, during the past several years many questions have arisen
as to the true ownership of various right-of-ways surrounding
Little Muskego Lake; and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney had been authorized by the Common Counci.1
to have title research done on the properties in question, and
WHEREAS, the reports issued to the Common Council on December 6,
1968, and February 25, 1969, by the City Attorney have indicated
that the following right-of-ways are owned by the City of Muskego,
or that the same have been dedicated to public use:
45' wide extension of Ruby Dr. in Jewel Crest
65' wide extension of Diamond Dr. in Jewel Crest
100' wide extension of Emerald Dr. in Jewel Crest
50' wide extension of Pearl Dr. in Jewel Crest
The right-of-way between Lots 20 and 21 of Kingstons Addition #1,
50' wide.
50' extension of Cook Drive in Kingstons Addition #2
34.82 extension of Park Dr. in Muskego Beach Park Add.
25' extension of Hillview Dr. in the Hillview Farm Plat
62' Lot #1 of the Assessor's Plat of Bay Shore and the
extension of Oak Court; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the citizens for the City to
assume its rightful responsibility as to the control and care of
these public right-of-ways.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego does hereby accept the report of the City Attorney on
the above mentioned parcels and does hereby declare them to be
public right- of-ways, and dedicated to public use; that the same
be designated as parkways.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Park and Recreation Board, being
the agency of the City responsible for park lands, is hereby directnd
to establish the needed control of the above described property in
order to insure proper maintenance and use of the parcels involved. n_L
